Course Description:
This will not your traditional class. You will be in the driver's seat and given the freedom to learn passionately. Here, YOU ask the questions and find the answers. I'm here to facilitate the process and help keep you on track. This will be where AWESOME comes to life!

Objectives:
- Students will explore passions, questions and interests that are PHAT (Pretty Hard and Tough). These require answers and work that are not Googleable!
- Students will gain experience in implementing a project from initial brainstorming to final product and presentation completion.
- Students will learn appropriate social media conduct.
- Students will collaborate with others within the school and beyond.
- Students will reflect on their own learning and provide meaningful feedback to their peers.
Projects:
You will create 2-4 projects over the course of the semester.
Structure:
- Introduction - We will spend time at the beginning of each project becoming familiar with the product genre for that project.
- Brainstorming - We will brainstorm together to come up with project ideas.
- Proposal and Contract - You will write a project proposal, which will then be approved by me. Once approved, we will both sign it as a contract to guide your research.
- Conferencing - You will schedule time with me each week to discuss your progress, goal setting, and ask questions.
- Blog - You will maintain a reflective blog through the semester to document your projects, reflect on your learning, and receive Quality Booster feedback from peers, experts, and a global audience.
- Class Discussion - We will have weekly class meetings so you can share your successes, struggles, and questions.
- Presentation - At the end of each project, you will share your project with the class and with the world digitally.
